Disability:IN 2020 Virtual Meeting
edgefactory was thrilled to partner with Q&A Events and Disability:IN on transforming a traditionally, face to face, annual meeting to one of the early adopters of a virtual environment.
Challenges:
- Create an engaging environment that isn’t a typical Zoom meeting.
- Inclusion and accessibility. (ability for those who are hearing or visually impaired or disabled to attend easily)
- American Sign Language Interpreters and Closed Captioning to be performed live during the conference.
- 100% remote presenters sharing presentations and controlling them remotely
- Socially distanced crew
Solution:
- Pre-recording of panels, and presenters allowed for flawless execution and an enhanced experience for attendees
- Graphically enhance the stream
- Allow for brand consistency and recognition
- Intentional spacing and room for both ASL and CC
- Provided waiting room sponsor loop to allow for sponsor income and fulfillment
